Project 365 Is Lovely but Not for Me

What happened last year to my 365 Project has happened again this year.  It's not just that life gets in the way, it's also that I feel so uninspired.  So I'm switching to the 52 Project (One photo a week each week of the year).  I think that this will help me to be able to get an idea for what I want to photograph and allow me time to prepare myself for it.

My 52 Project will start this week and I will try to post each week's photo on Saturday's.

Here's hoping this project goes better than the other.

  1. I was just going to suggest that! I tried in 2010 - failed! But I completed 2011, successfully, and I'm on to 2012! I have a linky that goes up between Wednesdays and Sundays, and you are more than welcome to come join me. I try to be as inspiring as possible. :D

    1. That would be GREAT! I really appreciate it. How does it work exactly? Or is it self explanatory?

    2. It's very easy! Take a photo, put into your post, go to the link at the bottom of my P52 post on Wednesdays, add the link to your post and just follow from there! You can read more here: http://ticklemywhimsy.blogspot.com/2011/12/project-52-2012-join-me.html

  2. Sounds like a great plan. 365 would be way too much pressure. I have once participated in the August Break where I'd blog one picture a day for an entire month instead of regular posts. That was fun to do. Something like that or the 52 weeks thing sounds much more do-able.

    1. I'm glad someone else feels the same way! For a while I felt like a "failure" and like I just didn't have what it took because I couldn't take a picture a day. It is a lot of pressure. And sometimes I think it stifles your creativity because you think, "I HAVE to take a picture, oh, look, i'll snap one of that rock..." you know what I mean???
